Love, love, and more love!

Years ago, Jimmy’s best friend since high school introduced us to this super awesome chick named Allie. We immediately hit it off and spent hours talking on the patio of a Louisville dive bar. We’ve kept in contact over the years via late night phone calls and impromptu visits, that always seemed to pick up exactly where they left off.

Fast forward a few years to when Allie introduced us to Pete. Talk about a match! Pete is equally as awesome, so fun to be around, and together they slay some karaoke! That’s actually how they met, so naturally they carried that tradition into their wedding day.

Being the fantastic people that they are, they decided to get married on the Fourth of July. And let me tell you, it was gorgeous! Days leading up to the event, their closest family and friends gathered together at Richwood on the River to prepare and celebrate. Although I’d imagine Richwood is always beautiful, it was the perfect venue for a summer wedding!

If there’s anything else you might need to know about Allie and Pete’s wedding day, it’s that it was hot. Maybe even the hottest wedding we’ve ever filmed. It was so hot that they decided to jump into the pool with full wedding attire after dinner!

But seriously, even that was beautiful!!! 😂 Just watch for yourself!

All That Glitters

Another “were to start” wedding couples?!

Both Keke and Kyle are creatives like Jimmy and myself, so we knew their wedding would be extraordinary! Without a doubt, we were correct.

Their day started at The Guest House Hotel, located in the neighborhood of Andersonville (Chicago). We loved everything about this boutique hotel, from the barn doors to the luxury feel of the rooms themselves. It was the perfect space for wedding day prep!

Their ceremony and reception were held at the Ravenswood Event Center. It’s a really cool industrial urban loft space that we love to film in. In our opinion, Ravenswood is a definite must see if you’re planning a Chicago wedding.

They decorated the space with lots of greenery and this amazing ornate rug that totally complimented Keke’s gold dress and emerald shoes. I loved every bit of the creativity put into their day!

While the details of their wedding day were amazing, Keke and Kyle themselves were what made their day so fantastic. They’re both easy going and so fun to be around! We also loved their use of movie/ TV quotes and references throughout the day! ❤️😂

One Big Fun Exciting Adventure

A ceremony on the rooftop of the Four Seasons? Ummm, yes please!

Danielle and Nick got married on the terrace, over looking the city of St. Louis with the Gateway Arch as their backdrop. It was seriously the coolest!

We regularly recommend the Four Seasons as a getting ready location for our St. Louis couples. The rooms have plenty of space, light, and really unique views of the city.

Danielle and Nick also hosted their reception at the Four Seasons. All inclusive location for the win! Bonus points for elegant wedding decor.

As we’ve been proven many times before, it pays to know people! Danielle and Nick had a friend guest DJ at their reception…and it was epic!
